Dance Show

The Dance Show will take place on Thursday, March 21 in the Main Hall of The Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group (GNAG), located at 175 Third Avenue, at the corner of Lyon and Third.

Admission is FREE! Get inspired! Join us for an evening of great dance shows!

Performances by Emilie’s adult classes (winter session). Hip Hop Level 2, Reggaeton, Sass Level 2, Dancehall Funk Level 1, Dancehall Funk Level 2, Street Dance Level 2, Street Dance Level 3, Burlesque Level 1 and BPM Dance Troupe!

After Party at P&Q Glebe, located at 779 Bank Street, near Bank and Second Avenue. It’s a 5-minute walk from GNAG. Wear comfortable shoes and expect lots of dancing!

Beer & Bites

Join us for an entertaining and social evening that features a four-course “Beer & Bites” that showcases four beers of a variety of styles. Your meal will be freshly prepared with local ingredients and each course is matched by a specially selected beer whose flavors compliment the food.

Not to be missed, grab some friends and head over a perfect evening.

Taste for Hope

Delight your taste buds with an array of mouth-watering food and drink at the seventh annual Taste for Hope.
Join us again this year as eighteen renowned Ottawa chefs serve samplings of sweet and savory delicacies. Enjoy a glass or two of wine, beer, or specialty cocktails and peruse exciting items and adventures that could be yours in our silent and live auctions. Eat, sip and bid your way through the night, all in support of Shepherds of Good Hope.
Tickets are $150.00 each and come with a $100.00 tax receipt. Everything is included in the price of your ticket, including an open bar.
Don’t delay! Last year’s event sold out three weeks before the evening. All staff and volunteers that would like to attend are encouraged to call Maureen for special pricing to the event.
Share an evening of gourmet canapes, refreshments, and fun with us and raise funds to support Ottawa’s most vulnerable people by creating: homes for all, a community for all, hope for all.

Trevor Noah – Loud and Clear Tour

For the first time ever, host of “The Daily Show” TREVOR NOAH comes to Ottawa!

Friday Jan. 25, 2019 – The TD Place Arena. 

Just For Laughs is thrilled to announce, that acclaimed comedian and host of the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, will be coming to Ottawa to perform his full show! Noah, who was named Comedy Person of the Year in 2017 at the Montreal International Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, will be performing live in Ottawa at the Arena @ TD Place on Friday, January 25 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $49.75, $65.75, $75.75 and $89.75 (taxes included + facility & service charges) and go on sale Friday, October 19 at 10:00 am.

Broadway Workout

5-6-7-8!Broadway Workout is a brand new dance-based fitness class for musical theater enthusiasts of any skill level. Learning choreography is great for mental and physical agility and is a ton of fun. At Broadway Workout you will work up a sweat while learning original choreography to a popular Broadway song. It’s a totally fun and unique way to workout.Beginners welcome. No experience necessary.

Instructor

Our class led by the fabulous Dani Bone-Corbishley. She is a performer, choreographer and director at Suzart Productions.

Dani has been choreographing for community musical theatre and choirs in Ottawa for ten years. She teaches dance workshops, camps and classes for all ages and abilities. No matter if she’s working with children or adults, experienced or novice dancers, graceful or movementally challenged, her focus is on cooperation and fun! She develops fun and engaging choreography that targets muscle groups for overall wellness.

Ottawa Farmers’ Christmas Market

The Ottawa Farmers’ Market’s Christmas Markets start Saturday, December 1st in the Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park! Christmas markets span four weekends in December.

With over 120 vendors of locally grown and locally made food, and arts and crafts, including guest vendors from neighboring markets, the Christmas Market serves as a great one-stop shop for host gifts, stocking stuffers, and ingredients for holiday dinners and entertaining.

Our Christmas Markets feature both Ottawa Farmers’ Market producer-members, as well as producers from other markets in the region, bringing you the best in locally grown and produced products across the Ottawa Valley and Western Quebec!
