Glebe Halloween Village 2025 – Free Accessible Trick-or-Treating – October 18, 2025

September 23, 2025 by CaitlinMcKinlay

Come join us at the second annual Glebe Halloween Village for a fun and free daytime trick-or-treating event that everyone can enjoy!

If you or your loved one have ever missed out on Hallowe’en because of your access needs, we want to welcome you to the second annual Glebe Halloween Village!

Please feel free to reach out to us with any specific access concerns or questions (glebehalloweenvillage@gmail.com). We want this event to be fun and comfortable for as many people as possible.

An enthusiastic group of volunteer neighbours and community members are delighted to present the Glebe Halloween Village again this year!

This event is perfect for families looking for a fun and accessible Halloween experience.

Head over to Glebe Avenue (between Lyon Street and Bank Street) on Saturday, October18th, 2025 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a memorable experience filled with treats, costumes, and community spirit. (Rain Date Sunday, October 19th, 2025)

The block will be transformed into a free, accessible daytime trick-or-treating experience with so many things to see and do:

  • treat stations at the ends of driveways (with food and non-food treats)
  • visitors from The League of Superheroes
  • a make-and-take craft station
  • a Flow Recreation Therapy regulation station
  • so many kind and welcoming neighbours of all ages!

We look forward to welcoming children (and those young at heart) with mobility, sensory, or intellectual disabilities who may not typically get to participate in trick or treating!

We will be collecting donations at the event for anyone who is interested. You can donate to the Glebe Halloween Village and our future events because, from the interest in this event, we know we need to do more in the future! You can also donate to the Ottawa Food Bank because people in our community are facing hunger.
