Opportunities for local artists to bring their visions to life in partnership with the Glebe BIA
The Glebe BIA has a vibrant 2026 planned, initiating multiple art projects to stoke community pride and capture the dynamic essence of our charming neighbourhood.
The BIA implements opportunities that animate the Glebe and add vibrancy to its streetscape. Artist and artist teams are invited to apply to these projects which will enrich the on-street experience in the neighbourhood.

Location: 14 Chamberlain Avenue, Ottawa
Size: 25′ high x 31′ wide
Medium: digital design files transferred to vinyl print application
Deadline to apply: Friday, March 6, 2026 – 12pm
The Glebe BIA has supported the installation of over 20 murals in the Glebe over the years. The goal of these murals is to support local artists, invigorate the neighbourhood with local pride-of-place, deter graffiti, and pay homage to the Glebe.

The Glebe BIA, with financial support from the City of Ottawa, seeks to commission an original artwork series to be displayed through the street pole banner program to celebrate Ottawa’s 200th Anniversary while representing the pride, charm and history of the Glebe.
Eligibility: Priority will be given to artists who are located (live and/or work) in the Capital Region (Ottawa, Gatineau, and surrounding areas). Other artists are welcome to apply.
Medium: Digital artwork transferred to blow-through mesh banners.
Deadline to apply: Friday, March 20, 2026
