Volunteer with the Glebe BIA
Want to be part of the day in a meaningful way? Join the Glebe BIA volunteer team on Saturday, May 23 and help keep the Sidewalk Sale welcoming, safe and running smoothly. Whether you prefer a static role with a clear post or a roaming ambassador role helping visitors and vendors, we’ll match you with a role that fits your comfort level. You’ll be supported by the BIA team throughout your shift, and you’ll play a real part in making the day a success.

Wayfinding Guide
You will assist our team by keeping eyes at one of our Bank Street intersections and help keep a safe watch on our many visitors and pedestrians in the Glebe. You will be asked to stay at your location throughout your shift, and to help message any information about the day. Since you will be at one spot, we will make sure you get a break and that someone can cover your spot while you take a breather.
This is a static position on your feet.
Age Range: 18+
Bank Street Ambassador
You will be an ambassador for the BIA and will help keep eyes on how Bank St. sidewalk set-ups are going, help answer any questions from vendors or advance them to the BIA Team. Your job may include assisting with information at a Bus Stop, directing pedestrians to the store they are looking for or helping one of our BIA stores with their set-ups/clean-ups.
This is a roaming position, so sneakers & a water bottle are a must!
