unforgettable experience offering unique series of pop-up art events blending art, socializing, and philanthropy into one vibrant package.

But what exactly is SOCIAL SPACE? A gathering of art enthusiasts and creators coming together
in urban settings, surrounded by curated artwork in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not just about
admiring art; it’s about immersing yourself in a community-driven space where you can meet
the artists, purchase their work, and contribute to a local charity—all while enjoying a laid-back
social vibe. The events are curated by artist Gordon Leverton + partner Nancy Cabral-Leverton.

The inaugural Ottawa event, hosted at the historical home of Grant and Sandy Macleod,
promises to be a feast for the senses. Featuring original and one-of-a-kind artworks by Gordon
Leverton, Andrew Milne, and the dynamic duo Maureen Bennett and Brent McGillivary, this
event offers a rare opportunity to experience art in an intimate setting.

Art enthusiasts can get a sneak peek and even purchase artwork in advance starting April 25th
on socialspaceevent.com, with a portion of the proceeds going to The Ottawa Food Bank. For
the grand opening on June 7th, doors open at 6 PM, inviting guests to immerse themselves in
an evening of art, socializing, and light refreshments courtesy of McKeen Metro and award-
winning Niagara + Aboriginal Wines from Enogastronomic Society – Vine & Dine, served by Wine Sommelier Roisin. Adding to the ambience, DJ Gordon Leverton will be spinning sweet tunes throughout the night.
