Colonel By Classic: Men’s & Women’s Hockey Teams

The annual Colonel By Classic is a doubleheader of hockey games between the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens men’s and women’s teams.

Named after Colonel By Drive, the road which connects Carleton and uOttawa, the Colonel By Classic is a Canadian rivalry hockey game between the Carleton Ravens and uOttawa Gee-Gees. The game has been held between men’s teams since 2016, and women’s teams in 2018.

The first Colonel By Classic was held on October 19, 2016.
