Colizza Bruni Architecture

Colizza Bruni Architecture Inc (CBA) is an Ottawa-based firm and has been in the practice of architecture in the Ottawa area for more than 40 years. Over these years, we have developed an expertise in innovative architecture, urban infill, and urban design. Our work has been honoured with many awards, among them, the Design Excellence Award from the Ontario Association of Architects, one of the highest honours of our profession. In addition to the awards, our work has been featured in several local and national publications including Canadian Architect, Canadian Interiors, Architizer, Arch Daily, Building Magazine etc.

We bring a very high level of technical expertise to the building process; but we also bring thoughtful design and the ability to ensure the building you inhabit enhances your everyday life experience. We are committed to providing architecture that meets our clients’ functional requirements, respects our shared environmental responsibilities, and supports our desire to dwell in a meaningful way.

Partners James Colizza and Anthony Bruni are involved in every project undertaken by the office. Both James (1976) and Anthony (1999) are graduates of Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture and have served as sessional instructors, guest lecturers and design studio critics at the University. Over the years, they have served on numerous City of Ottawa working groups and committees interested in improving the urban design of the city.
