In 2025, the Glebe BIA launched the In-Store Security Camera Program to help strengthen safety and deter crime in our commercial district. Through this initiative, we have provided cameras to over 15 businesses to date at no cost to BIA members to enhance security in their shops and ensure they have the resources they need should a crime take place in their business. Glebe BIA Business Members can request up to two in-store security cameras.

Program Details

• Cameras can be picked up from the Glebe BIA Office (858 Bank Street) once availability is confirmed.
• Any outward-facing cameras (e.g. facing Bank Street) must be registered with the CAMSafe program to support community safety and assist with investigations.
• Participants are responsible for camera installation and managing their own storage or device needs.
