Seventeen Voyces Presents: The Hunchback of Notre Dame

On Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1, Glebe-based chamber choir Seventeen Voyces will present the 1923 silent film classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, with live choral and organ music accompaniment, at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church. Organist Matthew Larkin will accompany the choir and provide live improvisation on the organ throughout the performance, just as theatre-goers might have heard it over a century ago. Don’t miss this spectacular performance – just in time for Halloween – combining silent film star Lon Chaney’s famed portrayal of the Hunchback Quasimodo with exquisite music.
