Seventeen Voyces – Ottawa’s premiere chamber choir – and founder/director Kevin Reeves will present a concert of Romantic-era music just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend, on Sunday, February 16th, 4:00 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Church in the Glebe. Stepping outside the choir’s usual fare of eclectic pieces of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, February’s concert will feature music by some of the Romantic era’s best-known composers including Brahms, Mendelssohn and Berlioz. Tickets are $30, $20 for students, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.seventeenvoyces.ca and at the door (cash, credit and debit accepted).
