Share the Flame

Share the Flame is a sculpture found in Olympic Park commemorating the 1988 Olympic Torch Run in Calgary. Created by Calgary-based artist Vilem Zach, the bronze monument was erected in 1989 and displays two figures holding an Olympic torch with a stylized maple leaf at its base. If you visit the sculpture in the spring, it stands above hundreds of golden Olympic Flame tulips.
