Audioshop - The Glebe BIA

Audioshop

The original Audioshop opened in Ottawa area in the early 1960’s on Carling Avenue. The goal was to provide better high fidelity equipment to the budding audiophiles of the day.
Bob Pentecost took over ownership of Audioshop in 1993. With his brother Kevin, Bob added televisions, home theatre and multi-room audio systems to the assortment. Marc Hallam left his management position at Saros Stereo in 1994 to come on board with Bob and Kevin and runs the Kanata store. The custom installation manager, Paul Theriault, has been with the company since 1999. Keith Green has been running the insurance replacement division of Audioshop (ClaimControl.ca) for twelve years.
Relying on a loyal, repeat clientele and their referrals, Audioshop has now grown to two locations employing 14 staff, offering state of the art home automation systems, multimedia distribution systems along with full blown home theatre systems yet not forgetting their roots with good old fashion stereo systems. You can still walk in and buy a good record player, amplifier and pair of speakers at a very reasonable price.
