The Great Glebe Garage and Sidewalk Sale

THANKS FOR A GREAT YEAR!

Despite the weather, the 2025 Great Glebe Garage And Sidewalk Sale was one of the best yet!

Stay tuned as we update this event page with some of our favourite neighbourhood photos from the day.

The BIA supports the Sidewalk Sale by working through the operations and logistics required for an event, and we will support members by coordinating the tables, barricades and other elements needed.

Washrooms & Water
In addition to the washrooms that are located in your favourite restaurants and cafes when you support these shops, public washrooms are available at Glebe Collegiate Institute, St. Matthew’s Church, and at Lansdowne Park.

The BIA & City of Ottawa have a Water Bottle Refill Station at Bank & Third.

Transit & Cycling

There are over 250 Bike Parking Spots at Lansdowne Park. We recommend parking there, and walking up through the Glebe along Bank Street to see the entire Sale!

OCTranspo Bus Routes 6 & 7 will operate and bring you right to the Glebe!

Please note that the Bus Stops at Third & Bank and Fifth & Bank will be out of service from 7am – 4pm for this event. Regular service will resume in the evening.

Parking & Vehicles

Parking will be extremely limited in the Glebe during this event.

Bank Street parking will be unavailable from 5am – 4pm. This lane is reserved for BIA merchants and their safety and enforcement will be in place.

Please plan to take public transit or make alternative arrangements to get to the Glebe. New parking restrictions will be in place this year to make this event more pedestrian friendly.

4-Hour Accessible Parking will be available at the Third Avenue (at Bank) parking zone. Available for Permit Holders only.
