The Water Plaza at Lansdowne is the perfect place to beat the summer heat. Families are encouraged to play among the fifty-two dancing water jets and enjoy the soothing sounds of the central art installation, Uplift. Designed by Vancouver-based artist Jill Anholt, the sculpture blends Ottawa’s tradition of stone building with contemporary materiality and innovative water engineering.
