Glebe Community Centre
The Glebe Community Centre is a historic structure that was designed by Clarence Burritt in 1914. Originally built as St. Paul’s Methodist Church and later St. James United Church, the building was bought by the City of Ottawa in 1973 and converted into a community centre. Today, it serves as a muti-faceted community space that hosts meetings, workshops, concerts, and other special events. Through a partnership with the Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group, the community centre also offers a variety of year-round activities and programs for all ages.
