Help us monitor ongoing activity in the Glebe by tracking incidents here. This tool is not a substitute for reporting crimes to Ottawa Police Services as outlined above and will not result in an immediate response. Rather, it is a mechanism to better monitor troublesome activity, provide a more complete picture of the issues faced by our community and demonstrate the need for appropriate actions and resources.

1. How to Report a Crime

Emergency?

Call 9-1-1

Situations where the safety of people or property are at risk:

  • Fire
  • Crime in progress
  • Medical emergency

Non-Emergency?

Call (613) 236-1222

Situations where there is no immediate risk:

  • Stolen vehicles/license plates
  • Evidence found at scene of crime
  • Stolen property

Report Online?

Report to Ottawa Police

Report the following online:

  • Theft (excluding passport theft)
  • Theft from vehicle
  • Traffic complaints
  • Mischief/damage to property
  • Hate crimes
  • Drug complaints
  • Fraud complaints
