Sergio Mattoscio, Head Chef at Industria, has held executive chef position at Med Grill and Rare. He opened his own restaurant, Macaroni Bar, in 2008, which soon became known for his signature gnocchi poutine. Word got out and Manhattan chef Scott Conant offered him a position at Toronto’s Scarpetta, however his love of Montreal kept him here. In 2013, he was a contestant on the TV show Top Chef Canada and soon after he became chef in a new venture, Industria, in Griffintown. Sergio Mattoscio does Italian dishes differently. His M.O. is re-inventing them by incorporating elements from other cultures into the recipe. Featuring a wide selection of beers, our guests enjoy an all around fun and delicious experience in a hip and industrial decor offering a rather progressive concept. Our motto… EAT. DRINK. LAUGH
