One Hundred Lanterns - Baroque Music by Candlelight

Glebe St. James United Church
map-icon 650 Lyon Street South

One Hundred Lanterns is not your average candlelight concert. An elaborate decor of well over one hundred handmade lanterns extends out from the stage and into the audience, enveloping listeners in a warm glow of light. The Consort performs in chamber music formation, which is a rarer chance to showcase individual players. The program includes a combination of trios, quartets and solo performances on period instruments.

Alexa Raine-Wright, baroque flute
David Jacques, theorbo and baroque guitar
Marie Bouchard, harpsichord
Olivier Henchiri, baroque cello
