Canadian violin virtuoso Alexandre Da Costa is on a mission – to bring classical music to the public.  Winner of many national and international first prizes, Da Costa has played and recorded as guest soloist with over 100 different orchestras including the Vienna, Berlin, London, Dresden, Hamburg, Prague, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Montreal and Toronto Symphony orchestras.

What would have been the music of the Baroque period if Bach had traveled into the future to experience today’s Rock, Jazz and Electro-pop music?Alexandre Da Costa, accompanied by his Rock band, allows himself a daring experience that showcases the music of composers who lived in the times of Louis XIV, and remixes it giving birth to works that will make you dance, tap your feet, and maybe even scream with euphoria!

Alexandre and his Stradivarius dating from 1701 will reboot Vivaldi in Heavy Metal, Bach in Boogie & Soft Jazz, not forgetting the famous Pachelbel’s Canon in a unique futuristic version! After revisiting the great Baroque masters, Alexandre ends his show with very personal versions of his favorite songs by Queen, Hendrix, Cohen, Pink Floyd and Metallica!
