Win the ultimate Girl’s Night Out in the Glebe
Looking for the ultimate Girls Night Out in the Glebe?
Third Avenue Spa has teamed up with Hair on Second Avenue and the Pomeroy House for the Great Glebe Girls Night Out, which will send you and two friends on a rare night out in the Glebe that includes manicures, hair washing and drying and $150 to spend at the Pomeroy House.
The Great Glebe Girls Night Out contest is a way for the three Glebe hot spots to give back to their loyal customers, while cross promoting businesses in the Glebe.
“It’s a great way to promote other businesses in the Glebe,” says Erin Dalton of Third Avenue Spa.
“We are big community advocates and the spa has been here for so long. This contest will help bring more traffic to the Glebe. We share a lot of clients with Hair on Second Avenue, and the Pomeroy House is such a great restaurant, we wanted to bring them on board. We all share similar ethics and values and we are all big on customer service.”
The contest is simple. All you need to do is like all three businesses on Facebook, like the contest post and tag two people who you would bring on your girl’s night out. If you’re more of an Instagrammer, you can like the post and tag two friends who you would bring for a chance to win.
“We’ve been talking about doing a women’s day for so long,” says Patricia Bertoli of Third Avenue Spa.
“There is so much potential here, this is just the start of something bigger.”
The cross-promotion aspect of this contest is really what drives it to become a bigger Glebe-centric giveaway, as it promotes three businesses, but also will likely encourage the winning patrons to come back to the community to check out more and more businesses.
For Danielle Gauthier at Hair on Second Avenue, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with the community, especially since the hair salon just opened its doors earlier this year.
“With us being the newest in the neighbourhood, it’s a great way for us to get involved,” she says.
“It gets us in deeper in the community right away.”
And although it’s dubbed a “Girl’s Night Out,” Dalton says that men won’t be excluded. The contest is for everyone.
The contest runs until Wednesday, July 19th. A winner will be chosen through a random raffle ticket counter and announced through social media.
