Calling all jazz cats, sports fans, food lovers and treasure hunters!

This weekend is for you in the Glebe.

Thanksgiving weekend will give you more than enough to do in the neighbourhood with family and friends – From REDBLACKS and 67’s games to live jazz and beer tasting to a bustling flea market.

You weekend kicks off early Thursday night at The Clocktower Brew Pub for their Beer & Bites event. The neighbourhood brew pub has teamed up with GNAG to “tantalize your taste buds” through food and beer. Brew masters at the pub will perfectly pair beer with sage sausage, spicy Thai soup, roast chicken and more. Tickets are $70. Click here to grab yours.

The Ottawa REDBLACKS proved last week that they were the class of the East with a huge win over the Edmonton Eskimos. Now, they will try to a playoff berth with a win over Winnipeg this Friday night at TD Place. The REDBLACKS are looking to make it three-in-a-row, while the Bombers are struggling to stay in playoff contention. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.

They’ve had a fair start to the season with a 3-3-0 record, but the Ottawa 67’s will hope to turn that into a winning record with two home games at TD Place this weekend. First up, it’s the Barrie Colts who blow into TD Place Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Click here for tickets to that game.

Saturday also boast the highly-popular monthly 613 Flea inside the Aberdeen Pavilion. Pick up vintage finds, records, comic books and a suite of nostalgic treasures that will certainly bring you back to your childhood. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for more information.

The 67’s will host the  Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday for another afternoon tilt. A double win weekend could push the second-place 67’s into top spot in the East Division. Click here for tickets to Sunday’s game.

Sunday also features the Ottawa Farmers’ Market. You can grab some pumpkins at the market and start carving up spooky creations for Halloween. Or maybe you are making pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving? Whatever you’re making, you’ll find plenty of goods at the market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here for more information.

Jazz, anyone? Head to Industria this Sunday for free live jazz from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Lansdowne Bar will be featuring free live jazz every Sunday. Click here for more information.

More jazz Sunday? Yes please. The Arrow and Loon will be hosting live jazz the first Sunday of every month. The series will feature a rotation of some of Ottawa’s top jazz vocalists backed by the Glebop Jazz Trio. Click here for more information.

What a perfect long weekend, eh? Happy Thanksgiving!
