With the weather warming, and the sun shining, market season is about to kick off in a major way in the Glebe. As we get back to it this spring, these markets are here to welcome you back and inspire your creativity once again with their local talents and designs.
Let’s start off with the staple markets at Lansdowne that are here for you, rain or shine.
Ottawa Farmers Market
Casino Lac Leamy Square, (Aberdeen Pavilion)
Sundays, 10am-3pm
The Ottawa Farmers’ Market is the only year-round, producer-only farmers’ market in Ottawa. Every vendor grows, makes, and bakes everything that they offer from within 100 km of Ottawa. You can get your favourite local grains, meats, cheeses, fruits and veggies, locally produced baked goods and sweets, as well as exceptional artisan crafts and jewelry year-round at the Lansdowne location.
613Flea
Casino Lac Leamy Square, (Aberdeen Pavilion)
Saturdays, 10am-4pm
With 140 vendors, 613Flea has quickly become a beloved Ottawa favourite where visitors find an ever-changing marketplace of great vendors who feature eclectic goods, antique & vintage pieces, food, and one-of-a-kinds.

The Real Fly Market
All Glebe markets are hosted at the Top of The World/Clocktower Brew Pub parking lot @ 575 Bank Street.
The Real Fly Market is an old school, vintage, flea market focusing on clothing and accessories.
Here are their confirmed upcoming dates in the Glebe,
May 14 & 15 | July 23 | Sept 10
Next up, Square Lemon Artistic Society will be hosting on-going Craft Markets at the Glebe Community Association for the rest of the year. The first one being their Springtastic Craft Festival on April 30 from 10:30am-3pm.
Here are their confirmed dates for the rest of the year,
May 29 | June 19 | July 23 | August 13 | September 25 | October 22 | December 17
These will all be hosted from 10:30am-3pm at 175 Third Avenue.
And last but not least, we have the Signatures Handmade Market to look forward to on June 17-19 from 10am-8pm.
This free, outdoor, fun-for-the-whole-family market is uniquely Canadian in the heart of the Glebe community. It features the work of independent artists, artisans, makers, and designers.
