Ottawa Farmers’ Market returns to the Glebe!
The Ottawa Farmers’ Market
Casino Lac Leamy Square, Lansdowne Park
Sundays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Ottawa Farmers’ Market is back open in the Glebe!
Just in time for blueberries, cherries, peaches and plums and an entire garden of fruits and veggies ready to flower at Lansdowne Park every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
And while the Market has changed a bit to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the quality of the produce on display has not. The Lansdowne Market is Ottawa’s only year-round producer-only market and typically boasts more than 150 vendors – all of them from within a 100-kilometer radius from the city. It’s the freshest, finest market in the city and it’s right here in the Glebe.
The Market is operating under a new framework to help protect consumers and vendors with customer limits, dedicated hours for vulnerable populations, increased space between vendors and a number of other safety and social distancing measures. It’s important to respect these and other measures encouraged by Ottawa Public Health to ensure we are all doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please click here for a full list of measures implemented by the Ottawa Farmers’ Market.
It’s important to note that masks are now required in all indoor public settings, including retail shops and restaurants throughout the city.
The Ottawa Farmers’ Market at Lansdowne runs every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from now through October. Click here for more information.
