Ottawa 67’s set for double-header weekend in the Glebe
Hockey heads will feel at home in the Glebe this weekend with the Ottawa 67s playing a double header at TD Place Saturday and Sunday.
The 67’s will look to right the ship a little bit after dropping four straight games to end the year. The year-end, four-game skid has pushed the Barber Poles down to the basement of the East Division, and seventh overall in the Eastern Conference.
But a couple of wins for the 67s could go a long way – especially with the sixth place Peterborough Petes visiting for an afternoon dust-up this Saturday. With just two points separating the two teams, Saturday’s tilt promises to be an all-out battle on every single play. The Petes have also dropped their past three games.
Puck drop is at 2 p.m. for Saturday’s game. Click here for tickets.
The 67’s won’t get much of a break this weekend, as the Windsor Spitfires will trade places with the Petes for a Sunday afternoon game against the 67’s at TD Place. Windsor sits in fifth place in the Western Conference and are chasing down the London Knights for sole possession of fourth place.
Sunday’s game is at 2 p.m. Get your tickets here.
The Glebe is a junior hockey haven this weekend. Come down and support the NHL’s future stars, right here in your back yard.
