June 23, 2011 – OCRI Business Training with BIA a Success

The Glebe Business Improvement Area (BIA) in partnership with the OCRI Entrepreneurship Centre will be providing a focused one-hour panel seminar to offer tips, suggestions and guidance to local business to help them navigate the reconstruction of Bank Street through the Glebe on June 23, 2011.

Speaking about the seminar, Christine Leadman the Executive Director of the Glebe BIA said, “This is by one of many activities the BIA, City of Ottawa and OCRI are undertaking to help local businesses adapt to the expedited reconstruction of the street. This is a great opportunity for our membership to fine tune their operations with free and sound advice brought to their doorstep.”

The seminar will bring together different professionals who will share their expertise in a variety of areas including: motivation, sales & marketing, social media, cash-flow and operations. The seminar will help local business owners with specific strategies to thrive through the reconstruction. In addition, Entrepreneurship Centre representatives will also be available to assist individual owners as well as schedule one on one meeting(s) to discuss their specific business strategies.
