Restaurants in the Glebe are starting to look like their old selves again.
Patios are packed, indoor dining is rockin’ and live music is back in the Glebe, as the province entered Step 3 of its reopening plan last week.
That means you can dine inside at your favourite Glebe restaurant. You can sit on a patio and sip cool margs or take in the next big Ottawa band at Irene’s Pub. The Glebe is back!

PATIOS IN THE GLEBE
If you wanna talk about vibing out this summer, you’ve gotta stop at the Fourth Ave wine Bar in the Glebe for after work drinks, small bites and one of the best wine selections you’ll find in the city. Bottoms up!
Arguably the nicest patio in the Glebe, Banditos has you covered all summer long with tacos, refreshing margs, delicious handhelds and appies, along with a killer surf vibe you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Sick tater tots, dude!
Boston Pizza the Glebe

Boston Pizza has turned their parking lot into a giant patio this summer where you’ll be able to order all your pub favourites like the Boston Brute or the crave-inducing spicy perogy pizza. Order to enjoy on the patio or to go.
The patio at Clocktower grew to epic proportions last year and the parking lot patio is back for another season of outdoor fun. The Glebe’s original craft brewery, slide onto the patio and try one of their seasonal beers, or order something off their menu – all the pub favourites you can handle.
Another stunning patio space is just around the corner at Lansdowne at CRAFT Beer Market. With over 100-plus Ontario craft beers on tap, you won’t know what to order. Just get a flight and try a few. Plus, their menu a’int too shabby either. CRAFT is the perfect summer hangout.
Forget cooking tonight and let Crust and Crate fill your belly with pizza goodness. The Lansdowne pizzeria is firing up flash fired pies from their wood-fired oven for you to enjoy on the patio or at home. Choose from classics like Fredo Corleone and the Quattro Stagioni or get a bit wild with their Pomme de Terre pizza featuring white sauce, mini Potatoes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, thyme, rosemary, goat Cheese and Truffle Oil.
If you’re a food lover, then chances are you’ve been to Erling’s Variety more than once. Or once a week. The Glebe fine dining restaurant is arguably the best restaurant in the city, as chef/owner Liam Vainola cooks up whatever is lying around. All jokes aside, Vainola does follow a seasonal menu and changes things up as certain produce becomes available. He’ll be cooking ramps and fiddleheads in the spring and moves into root veggies and wild mushrooms at fall time. His new patio is the place to be this summer.
If you’re looking for some of the best Tex-Mex in the city, look no further than to Feleena’s. The Bank Street Mexican restaurant has reopened its iconic patio with tacos, margs and burritos flying out of the kitchen before you can say, “mas por favor.”
