Grocery stores, pharmacies remain open in the Glebe to serve your needs amid COVID-19

March 20, 2020 | by glebeadmin

As our community confronts COVID-19, the health and safety of our city remains a top priority. This is a human and an economic crisis unlike anything we’ve ever faced. As the situation evolves, please continue to follow the advice of public health officials, practice social distancing and follow all recommended safety precautions.

Your local businesses are here to help. Some have suspended their operations to assist during a period of social distancing, many others remain open to provide the community with much needed products and services. The Government of Ontario declared a State of Emergency on March 16, 2020, ordering the closure of many public venues. However, grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants (take-out and delivery) and other amenities are still operational. Some have adjusted store hours and installed specific conditions to limit the spread of the virus.

Below are a list of grocery stores and pharmacies in the Glebe that are ready to serve your needs. Supply chains are running well so consumers are encouraged to purchase only the essentials in order to accommodate everyone.
