Ottawa Farmers’ Market every Sunday at Lansdowne in the Glebe.

"It’s back. Get your freshest produce, sweetest fruits, unique handi crafts and a galaxy of goods at the Ottawa Farmers’ Market that has returned to the Casino Lac Leamy Plaza at Lansdowne Park.

The Ottawa Farmers’ Market is the city’s only year-round, producer-only farmers’ market where you’ll find more than 55 vendors selling their wares in the pristine setting of Lansdowne Park.

The artisans and farmers produce their edible goods and intricate crafts within a 100-km distance from the City of Ottawa. The market showcases the best of this region, with many agricultural, craft, baked goods, personal care products, and prepared food artisans in attendance.

Market staff have been working closely with public health officials to create protocols to help make our markets the safest source of fresh, local food possible while we strive to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Ottawa. Organizers ask that customers please respect these measures as they are designed to give you the safest shopping experience possible.

These measures include:

  • Mandatory outdoor mask use for all customers, staff, and vendors.
  • No pets, only service animals.
  • Limiting customer numbers within the market at any given time.
  • Spacing out vendor stalls.
  • Offering hand sanitizer throughout the market.
  • Enforcing physical distancing measures within the market, and in areas where customers may wait.
  • Sanitizing surfaces and tables frequently.
  • No sampling of products.
  • No seating areas.
  • No musicians or buskers.

We ask that you please stay home if you are sick, or have been in contact with someone who is sick.

Ottawa Farmers’ Market returns to the Glebe!

"The Ottawa Farmers’ Market
Casino Lac Leamy Square, Lansdowne Park

Sundays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Ottawa Farmers’ Market is back open in the Glebe!

Just in time for blueberries, cherries, peaches and plums and an entire garden of fruits and veggies ready to flower at Lansdowne Park every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

And while the Market has changed a bit to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the quality of the produce on display has not. The Lansdowne Market is Ottawa’s only year-round producer-only market and typically boasts more than 150 vendors – all of them from within a 100-kilometer radius from the city. It’s the freshest, finest market in the city and it’s right here in the Glebe.

The Market is operating under a new framework to help protect consumers and vendors with customer limits, dedicated hours for vulnerable populations, increased space between vendors and a number of other safety and social distancing measures. It’s important to respect these and other measures encouraged by Ottawa Public Health to ensure we are all doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please click here for a full list of measures implemented by the Ottawa Farmers’ Market.

It’s important to note that masks are now required in all indoor public settings, including retail shops and restaurants throughout the city.
